Pandora, Fabulous Finds.

If you haven't ever heard of Pandora, it's a great free online music player. Its got a really interesting software, and the way it works is pretty awesome. You tell it a group or song you like, and it finds more music with the same sound to it. It's all Christian music, and it introduces you to new artists you've never heard of, new songs that you haven't heard before, and also songs and bands you know and love. The only things I don't like about it are that it appears to not have any good Celtic music and you can only skip so many songs an hour. I don't know how many that is, but it's annoying.

Also, I finally got to go into this really awesome shop on Grape street. It's called Fabulous Finds, and it's an antique/collectibles shop. They have lots of beautiful jewelry, as well as things like all kinds of hats, tea sets, silverware, a whole rack of gloves, and some fun fur coats. And that's only the kinds of things I like, there are other things too. Besides having great variety and a great saleslady, everything is reasonably priced! Well, not everything, but enough things that I could have spent hours (and all my allowance) in this store, and come out with all new jewelry, gifts for a lot of people, and decorations for my room. Yay!

  1. Hi MaryLynn -

Thanks for trying Pandora -- we're glad you're enjoying it!

We're working on our Celtic music collection, so that will improve greatly over the next few months.

Our music licenses only allow listeners to skip 6 songs per station per hour. But keep in mind: this limit is station-specific. So if there's a song playing that you don't like and you've run out of skips on that station, feel free to switch stations for awhile. (or create a new station!)

    Cheers,
    Lucia, from Pandora
