Dedication (Feb 14th)

Dedication. Trust. Perseverance. Obedience. Trust. Faith. Love. Peace. Joy. Strength.

What do all these things have in common? They come from God and having a relationship with Him. Okay, so maybe you can have these things without being a Christian, but it's not real. It's like never having any chocolate except hot chocolate (from a mix) that isn't hot. You have to truly talk to your dad in heaven and have a friendship with Him that truly means something important. Okay, so maybe you think I am some kind of fanatic. but really, what I am talking about isn't strange. it isn't radical, or weird. what I am talking about just makes perfect sense! God made this earth. He created all of us, and everything we have comes from Him. We are blessed by Him always. Why shouldn't we change our lives, and those around us, with our praise of such an amazing king? Why in the world should we not live every second of our lives trying to praise Him, and give Him all the glory? He deserves it, unlike anyone else, or anything else.

Now that I have said that. I am trying to write out the entire book of Psalms. I am in the middle of psalm 4 and I just started this morning. :) I think starting my day with the Bible and continuing to write a little every now and then will help me be a happier person, and I hope that I will be a kinder person, more fun to be around. yay! Soon I will have a whole notebook full of the Bible in my own handwriting. :)
