Yesterday was a basketball tournament. We played early and late, so I was there all day. In the first game I played very well, and we won. in the second game, I was sick, we all had bad defense, and we lost. our Varsity guys played very well (as always) and the JH girls and guys were awesome. I think it is interesting that some people are more effected by not playing then others. It seems that it doesn't matter whether we win or lose, what matters is the chance to play - that is how I feel. but some people (starters, who get to play the whole game when the score is close) feel that it is right and good that only they play when the score is close. they have the talent, they get to play. but many non-starters have talent too, so that argument totally doesn't work.
Anyways. I got to talk to some of my friends a lot yesterday, which was awesome, and I felt sick for an hour, which stunk majorly. ah well.
Today has been good so far. I got to talk to some people at church, and the sunday school lesson was pretty interesting. The sermon, however, seemed a little desperate. Is it just me, or is it strange that the pastor has a whole sermon on "what it means to be in our church" right before we change what our church is doing? I mean, I can see how he was showing how it's going to be different, but still!
I am going to finish up what I am doing online, and then go clean some, because we are thinking of inviting some people over tonight, and you know how moms are with stuff like that. Everything must be perfect or our friends won't like us anymore!!! aaah!
